Week 1 - Introduction

PRACTICAL
Week 1
1. Bezier Game
 • Practice and play on this game :  https://bezier.method.ac
 • Result:

This game is definitely a very good and fun way to practice pen tool. I personally have a struggle and quite frustrated while playing this game because of my lack experience using Photoshop and pen tool. But beside that, I have a fun time completing the stage and also gain more knowledge about different kind of shortcuts used and how to use the pen tool itself.

2. Create your E-Portfolio blog

4.  Three favorite graphic design works from Pinterest.
     Design 1 :

Fig. 3.6: E-book cover design (Source from Pinterest)
The first design I choose is an e-book cover for Singapore travel guideIine. The whole ideas for this design is appealing, starting from the concept, title, typography and color choices. The pink, the electric ultramarine blue and the neon green color combination produce contrast and make a really nice result. What I also love is that it is straightforward, clear and provide enough information for the audiences. The illustration and the overlapping font title also make the overall design looks more interesting.

    Design 2 :

Fig 37: Poster design (Source from Pinterest)
There are many things that are interesting about this second poster design. First one is the quote used for the whole poster concept about the environmental awareness. Next, the illustration is amazing and really portray the quotes. Lastly, the stylized typography looks very unique and the colors. This poster can also help to raise awareness and inspire people to care more about the environment.

    Design 3 :

Fig 3.8 : Branding poster design (Source from Pinterest)
This branding poster is quite simple but really attracts me because of its colorful, bold and fun color palette. The contrast background and the graphic elements used work really well together with the canned drink packaging design. I feel like this really gives out the strong vibes for the brand itself. Beside that, the logo typography make the poster standout and prominent. Overall this design is eye-catching and will definitely attracts and reach out to many customers easily.

Week 4 - Adjustment Layer
For today exercise Mr. Martin gave us a photography picture by Karin van Mierio to be downloaded and opened in Photoshop.

Below are the preview of before and after all the adjustment that have been made.

I aim to make the photography to have the disposable filter on it, which I think will be more suitable.
