Week 1 

Editing Exercise

In week 1, we were briefed about all the tasks and had an in-class exercise, which is combining several video clips that have been provided, into one video based on the right order.

The first clips are from Mint's commercial video, which are already given in the right order and only needed to be arranged based on their numbers.

To insert the footage, I drag the first video to the workspace and use the insert tools to add the next one.

As for the second video, we're given some footage from Dorito's advertisement, that needed to be arranged on our own as they weren't in the correct order.

Week 2 (05/09/22)

Exercise 1 - Framing Shooting Exercise

In the second week, we were tasked with a shooting exercise with several framing requirements, where we were paired with 1 other student to help each other shoot.

Exercise 2 - Premiere Pro Editing Exercise

I began by arranging the footage based on the storyboard given, then start to cut out the unnecessary part of each video.

After trimming and combining all the footage, I added the graphics that have been provided in Google Drive folder. Then, I also added the message pop-up notification sound to it.

Week 3

3-Act Structure Exercise

On week 3, we're to identify and break down two short movies, Lalin (2005) and Guang (2011), according to the 3-act structure.

Week 5 

Storyboarding Exercise

In week 5 class, we watched a short video together in class and were asked to observe the storyboarding and floorplan of it.
